VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: Applications for the following vacancies are invited on prescribed forms, which can be downloaded from www.pifd.edu.pk and accompanied by original deposit slip showing Online Deposit (Habib Bank Limited, Islamic Bank, Expo Center Branch, Lahore Account No. 5039-70002688-51) / Pay Order / Demand Draft for Sr. No. 01 to 03 of Rs. 1500, Sr. No. 04 to 07 of Rs. 1000 in favor of Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design as Application Processing Fee (Non-Refundable).

1. Deputy Director Internationalization and External Linkages

Number of Post: ONE (01)
Nature of Post: Purely on CONTRACT as per PIFD Statutes
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Master’s or equivalent degree awarded after 16 years (preferably 18 years) of education from HEC recognized University / Institution preferably in International Relations (IR) with five (5) years teaching / administrative experience including two (02) years in the relevant field.

2. Manager Alumni Relations

Number of Post: ONE (01)
Nature of Post: CONTRACT as per PIFD Statutes
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- B. Des / BS Degree in any discipline from Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) with five (5) years work experience. The candidate should have Good Communication, Networking, Presentation and Written Skills, Sound understanding of Local and Global Universities Advancement Trends and proficiency in MS Office.

3. Media and Communication Officer

Number of Post: ONE (01)
Nature of Post: CONTRACT as per PIFD Statutes
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Sixteen (16) years of qualification in Mass Communication OR Journalism OR Media Studies OR Communication Studies from HEC recognized University / DAI / HEI OR Fashion Marketing & Merchandising (Preferably PIFD Graduate) with five (5) years’ experience in Print / Electronic / Social Media Platform Communication.
- The candidate should have good communication skills both verbal and written in Urdu & English.

4. Nurse (Female)

Number of Post: ONE (01) Post
Nature of Post: CONTRACT as per PIFD Statutes
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in general nursing from HEC recognized University with two years experience in similar capacity.

5. Lab Incharge (Lapidary Lab / Workshop)

Number of Post: ONE (01) Post
Department: Gems & Jewellery Design
Nature of Post: Purely on CONTRACT as per PIFD Statutes
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Intermediate with Diploma/Certificate in Gemstone Cutting, Gemology and Gem identification with at least twenty (20) years professional experience in the field of Gems and Gemology.

6. Lab Assistant (Handicraft)

Number of Post: ONE (01) Post
Department: Gems & Jewellery Design
Nature of Post: Purely on CONTRACT as per PIFD Statutes
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Matric with at least five (05) years professional experience in the relevant field.

7. Lab Assistant (Lapidary)

Number of Post: ONE (01) Post
Department: Gems & Jewellery Design
Nature of Post: Purely on CONTRACT as per PIFD Statutes
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Matric with at least five (05) years professional experience in relevant field.

Application Form with complete CV and bank deposit slip with attested copies of educational and experience documents, must reach the undersigned till 23rd August 2024. Applications received after due date and incomplete will not be entertained.

All the positions are on open merit basis, however 2% quota for disabled persons will be implemented.
Candidates already in Government Service should apply through proper channel and submit NOC along with their documents.
Only short listed candidates will be called for test / interview.
No TA/DA will be paid for test / interview.
PIFD reserves the right to fill or not fill any of the above mentioned post and accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
