📢 We’re Hiring – Executive Officer – Payments
Pak-Qatar Group is seeking a qualified and competent professional to join our Finance & Accounts Department at our Head Office in Karachi.
Position Requirements:
Education: Graduation (B.Com/BBA) or ICMA Finalist
Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial institutions (ideally in Takaful or Insurance) within the Payment function.
Skills Required:
- Sound knowledge of payment processing, tax withholdings, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage large transaction volumes with accuracy and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all vendor, employee, and operational payments in line with internal policies and procedures.
- Apply appropriate tax deductions (withholding tax, sales tax, etc.) in compliance with applicable laws, while maintaining proper documentation.
- Coordinate with banks for payment processing and resolve transaction-related issues.
- Review and verify supporting documents for all payment requests to ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper approvals.
- Perform periodic reconciliations of payment accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
