JOB SUMMARY We are looking for a Machinery Sub-Engineer to supervise on-site overhaul and maintenance activities for critical rotating and static machinery across fertilizer, petrochemical, and refinery plants. The role involves supervising maintenance crews, ensuring compliance with OEM procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements, and supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable execution of maintenance and turnaround activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise overhauling, dismantling, inspection, repair, and reassembly of rotating and static machinery.
Lead site technicians and crews, ensuring OEM procedures, alignment, clearances, torque, and workmanship standards.
Ensure strict compliance with HSE, quality, permit-to-work, and shutdown/turnaround requirements.
Coordinate tools, tackles, spare parts, and workforce deployment to ensure smooth maintenance execution.
Verify dimensional checks, alignment, assembly clearances, and equipment readiness before commissioning.
Monitor work progress and maintain daily site reports for the Engineer In-Charge and client O&M teams.
Resolve routine field and technical issues, escalating major deviations to the Engineer In-Charge.
Coordinate day-to-day work sequencing and execution in line with project and turnaround requirements.

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

DAE Mechanical with 20-25 years of hands-on field experience.
Strong expertise in overhauling and maintenance of rotating/static machinery.
Proven experience with steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and cooling towers.
Experience in fertilizer, petrochemical, or refinery plants preferred.

JOB OVERVIEW

LOCATION: Natural Gas Compression facility at Daharki, Sindh

JOB SUMMARY We are looking for a DAE (Mechanical) professional to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhauls of Ariel compressors and Waukesha gas engines while ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks on Ariel gas compressors and Waukesha gas engines including top end and major overhauls.
Conduct detailed inspections, condition monitoring checks, and adjustments per technical guidelines and OEM recommendations.
Execute mechanical troubleshooting, identify issues promptly, and complete accurate repairs and component replacements.
Document and maintain precise maintenance records, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment logs.
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, including LOTO and PPE usage, maintaining a proactive safety culture among team.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, procedures, and team productivity.
Collaborate effectively with engineers, OEM representatives & team during maintenance schedules and unexpected breakdowns.
Manage personal tool inventory and ensure the cleanliness and functionality of workshop equipment and maintenance tools.
Any other tasks assigned by incharge.

PREFERRED BACKGROUND:

DAE (Mechanical) with 2–10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance (Ariel compressors & Waukesha gas engines preferred).
Proven expertise in major equipment overhauls and maintenance projects.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Waukesha GET & ESM certification is an added advantage.
