Position Description

  • Plans, manages, and executes assigned Radio care projects (SW/HW upgrades, Preventive Care, Expert Support, change deliveries).
  • Lead pilots and trials.
  • Maintains network installed base details.
  • Provide maintenance support for equipment and applications.
  • Fault diagnostics and processing
  • Processing of Technical Queries, Fault Reports, emergencies, installation of patches, implement corrections
  • Analysis and fault clearance of NE elements
  • Emergency duty (24/7)
  • Participation in installation, commissioning, Integration, acceptance, Testing of 2G, 3G Nokia Controllers & 4G e Node B’s.
  • New feature implementation.
  • Analysis of problems, proposing / implementation of solutions and workarounds
  • SW updates and upgrades
  • Tracing of error scenarios
  • Symptoms / log collection in case of HW/SW problems
  • Support 3rd parties in case of HW upgrade or maintenance
  • Collecting requested evidence for higher level(s) of support

Position Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics or computer engineering

  • 10 years of working experience
  • Technology Skills 2G, 3G, LTE
  • Expertise on Nokia SRAN, mcBSC. mcTC, Flexi BSC, RNC2600 & mcRNC implementation
  • Expertise on AoIP, Packet Over ABIS Implementation & Troubleshooting
  • Expertise of doing the SW upgrade / updates to the latest release on the live node
  • Expertise on LTE eNode B
  • Knowledge of IP Networks
  • Team player
  • Result oriented
  • Ability to work independently in a high pressure environment
  • Discretion in routine matters
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to share knowledge
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Ready to work at night and travel on short notice
  • Valid Driver’s license
