WE’RE HIRING! SENIOR EQUITY RESEARCH ANALYST
ABOUT THE ROLE: NBP Fund Management Limited is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Equity Research Analyst to join its Equity Investments team.
The candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth fundamental research, developing differentiated investment insights, and generating high-conviction investment ideas to support the long-term performance of the Company’s equity portfolios. The role requires strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to independently develop sector views and company-specific investment theses. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, possess a high degree of ownership and intellectual curiosity, and be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and performance-oriented investment environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct fundamental equity research on listed companies and assigned sectors.
- Develop financial models, valuation analyses, and earnings forecasts.
- Independently initiate and maintain research coverage and develop clear, differentiated, and actionable Buy, Hold, and Sell recommendations.
- Analyze financial statements, industry trends, and macroeconomic developments.
- Generate high-conviction investment ideas and present well-articulated recommendations to the Investment Committee and relevant investment forums.
- Continuously monitor existing portfolio holdings and provide timely updates on earnings, valuation, investment thesis, and material developments.
- Prepare periodic sector commentaries, research reports, and investment presentations.
- Engage with company management, brokers, and other market participants to gather investment insights.
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS:
- ACCA/CFA chartered holders or candidates at advanced levels of the CFA Program will be preferred.
- Strong command of financial modelling, valuation techniques, and sector/thematic research
- Demonstrated ability to independently initiate coverage and generate high-conviction investment ideas.
- Ability to communicate complex investment ideas clearly and defend recommendations through rigorous analysis.
- Excellent report writing, presentation, and client communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Bloomberg/Refinitiv, and other financial databases
- 3-5 years in equity research, investment banking, or portfolio management
- Prior experience mentoring junior analysts will be an added advantage
