CAREER OPPORTUNITY: MEPCO is one of the largest electricity distribution companies in the Public Sector serving more than 8.3 million consumers having 15000+ employees and consisting of operational areas covering 13 districts of Southern Punjab. The Charter of MEPCO is to provide reliable and safe electric power supply to the consumers in its jurisdiction.
The services of dynamic and high-caliber professionals/candidates for the following posts on a Lump Sum Pay Package (Non-Pensionable Post) for a 1-year contract basis extendable on satisfactory performance are required on the following terms & conditions:

Junior Engineer / SDOs

Age: Minimum 21 years, Maximum 28 years (with 5 years general age relaxation as per Govt. of Pakistan Policy on the closing date).

Qualification Required:
- BE (Electrical/Electronic)/B.Sc (Electrical/Electronic)/BS (Electrical/Electronic) Engineering from HEC recognized universities and registered with PEC.

Revenue Officer (RO)

Age: Minimum 21 years, Maximum 33 years (with 5 years general age relaxation as per Govt. of Pakistan Policy on the closing date).

Qualification Required:
- MBA/M.Com/M.Sc Computer Sciences/M.Sc/MA Statistics/Mathematics or equivalent qualification from HEC recognized universities.
Note: The candidate must have a capable operating computer with special emphasis on Windows and MS Office.

LS-I

Age: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 25 years (with 5 years general age relaxation as per Govt. of Pakistan Policy on the closing date).

Qualification Required:
- Matric with the 3 years Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical/Electronics with 1st Division from any Polytechnic Institute recognized by concerned Technical Education Board or equivalent qualification in the relevant field.
- 01-year experience in trade is required in any reputable organization (relaxable in case of candidates possessing higher qualifications).

LS-II

Age: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 25 years (with 5 years general age relaxation as per Govt. of Pakistan Policy on the closing date).
Posts/Quota:

- Total = 59
Qualification Required:
- Matric with the 3 years Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical/Electronics with 1st Division from any Polytechnic Institute recognized by concerned Technical Education Board or equivalent qualification in the relevant field.

Applicants are advised to read the following instructions carefully before filling the relevant prescribed application form available on Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB) Testing Services job portal for MEPCO (https://mepco.iub.edu.pk).

INSTRUCTIONS & GENERAL CONDITIONS:

MEPCO Region includes Districts of Multan, Lodhran, Vehari, Khanewal, D.G. Khan, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, Bahawalpur, R.Y. Khan, Bahawalnagar, Sahiwal & Pakpattan.
General age relaxation has already been included in the age limit mentioned above. No further age relaxation will be granted except as prescribed by Govt. rules for disabled candidates.
Applicants must submit a prescribed application form to MEPCO’s authorized testing agency.
Candidates awaiting their results are not eligible to apply.
Original documents along with attested photocopies must be presented by the candidates at the time of the interview.
Candidates dismissed or terminated from any organization will not be eligible.
No TA/DA will be admissible.
MEPCO reserves the right to cancel/reduce/increase the number of posts.
Applications incomplete in any respect or received after the due date will not be entertained.
Any direct or indirect influence will disqualify the candidates.

HOW TO APPLY:

Applicants may apply directly on the IUB portal https://mepco.iub.edu.pk and upload scanned copies of all required documents (Educational Certificates/Degrees, CNIC, Domicile, etc.).
Test fee of Rs. 500/- for LS-II, and Rs. 750/- for other posts (Sr. No. 1, 2 & 3) shall be paid in favor of IUB Testing Services via Online Banking or Mobile App.
Roll Numbers slips will be available online on the IUB portal at least one week before the test.
