Description
- Preparing weekly/current payments for vendors/suppliers.
- Providing daily updates on vendor payment status
- Verifying active/non-active taxpayer status (Income Tax) using NTN/CNIC during vendor payment processing
- Assigning tax codes based on vendor status (e.g., filer/non-filer) before processing payments.
- Sending payment details to relevant suppliers
- Printing and assigning cheque numbers in SAP
- Printing payment documents
- Marking vendor advances after material receipt
- Responding to vendor queries regarding payments
- Preparing details for income tax/sales tax deduction for preparation of PSID
- Clearing withholding income tax/sales tax GLs after tax payment
- Maintaining records of signed and dispatched cheques
- Coordinating with the Purchase Team for due payment updates
- Providing Withholding Tax Certificates to relevant vendors
- Compiling details for submission to FBR/PRA/SRB as needed
Key Requirements
Qualification: ACCA, ACMA, MBA, CA Finalist 2+ years in the relevant field Proficiency in using SAP is preferred
