SITE MANAGER SOLAR
The Site Manager (SM) Solar Project is responsible for supporting the GM – Plant in overseeing the project. The SM will be responsible for managing and overseeing the planning, design, installation, and commissioning of solar power systems. The SM will coordinate with clients, Consultant and contractors to ensure projects are designed, installed, and maintained on time and on budget and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure availability of critical & non-critical spares and inform GM – Plant in case of any additional requirement.
- Coordination with contractor, consultant and OEMs and LTAs.
- Ensure regular meetings with contractors and task completion follow-ups.
- Conduct on-site visits to construction sites, ensuring quality and contractual compliance of work performed by contractors.
- Monitor project progress and adjust resources as needed.
- Ensure that projects adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Perform pre-construction site visits, providing feedback on constructability, accessibility, and grid connectivity to GM – Plant.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, including activity rates and work completion forecasts to GM – Plant.
- Report all matters directly or indirectly impacting the production or design life of plant and suggest remedial measures to GM – Plant.
- Good bounding with local community and government bodies.
- Supervision of CSR works.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical with PECs registration.
- PMP Certification.
- 8 – 10 years of experience in Solar and Grid station.
- In-depth knowledge of Solar PV plant development and construction processes, including HSE requirements.
- Familiarity with solar energy systems and components.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, set goals, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, Technical Knowledge, maintenance experience and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English, Balochi, and Urdu languages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Well versed in MS Office.
