Lucky Core Industries Limited is hiring an Assistant Manager Utilities for its Pharmaceuticals business based in Karachi.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the operation and maintenance of the utilities section, overseeing HVAC systems, water purification systems, compressed air systems, steam generation systems, etc.
Plan and execute the annual preventive maintenance plan for utility equipment.
Coordinate and oversee the qualification and validation of utility systems and related clean areas.
Collaborate with departments such Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Warehousing, and Engineering to ensure seamless integration of utility systems with overall operations.
Implement energy conservation initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
Ensure compliance of utility systems with relevant regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Participate in regulatory inspections and audits related to utility systems.
Lead troubleshooting efforts to address and resolve utility system issues promptly.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all utility systems, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), equipment manuals, and validation documents.
Manage records for inspections, maintenance, and calibration activities.
Develop and manage budgets for the maintenance, operation, and improvement of utility systems.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of utility systems.
Provide training to staff involved in the operation and maintenance of utility systems.
Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance in all utility operations.

Skills:

Essential managerial skills for effective team management and development.
Profound knowledge of the Engineering department, with expertise in utilities operations, HVAC systems, water purification systems, compressed air systems, steam generation, preventive maintenance, and validation processes.
Strong project management skills to keep projects and processes on track.
Proficiency in planning and executing utility operations in a cost-effective manner.
Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Good command of Excel and other MS tools.
Proficient in SAP.
