· Internal Audit Engagement Planning, Execution and Supervision:
Ø To oversee the execution of the internal Audit plan for his/her affiliates: ensure that planned audits are completed when expected. Anticipate planning issues and is proactive in resolving planning conflicts, delays or ad hoc requests in coordination with the Chief Internal Audit.

Ø Lead internal Audit assignments at Regional level or Head Office Level, which includes:
Ø planning for the scope of the assignment, developing the audit procedure to conduct the assignment which includes identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, developing the internal audit planning memo and obtaining management approval
Ø Assigning tasks to the Audit Supervisors/Team Leads for the engagement and monitoring the completion of the task
Ø Supervise the audit engagement team members in the identification, development, and documentation of audit issues and recommendations for improvement
Ø Reviewing and analyzing evidence, reviewing working papers to ensure completeness, accuracy and validity of audit findings and recommendations.
Ø Resolve issues.
Ø Conduct the exit meeting with the management
Ø Prepare the draft audit report and obtain all necessary approval and clearance before issuing the final report and issue the final report promptly.
Ø Ensure the engagement audit file is complete and in compliance with the Internal Audit operating policies.
Ø Work in audit engagement with the other managers: collaborate and contribute to the effective realization of the audit assignment.
Ø Efficiently manage special assignments including gold audit, Regulatory reviews or any other assignment etc.

· Communication:

Ø Responsible the support the CIA in the overall and on-going communication with the Audit Committee and with the management,
Ø Communicate to CIA the results of audit and consulting projects, analysis, trends and any relevant information via written reports and/or oral presentations on a timely basis, according to planned reporting schedule or as required/necessary to the CIA and audit committee
Ø Develop creative communication with the management in order to support Internal Audit Dept. in the realization of their objective and to help the internal audit department as a whole in maintaining permanent knowledge of local issues, topics and relevant information.
Ø Develop and maintain productive team-oriented relationships with other Depts. to help maintain an image of the internal audit activity which is positively contributing to the Bank’s mission and goals.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other attributes
Education: CA Inter or CA Finalist, ACMA, ACCA (member), MBA (finance), Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, M. Com, PIPFA.
Candidates having done CIA, CFE, CIMA will be given preference.
