POSITIONS VACANT: Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited is seeking suitable candidates for appointment to the following positions on a contract basis.

Position 1:

Position / Billet: Manager (Sales)
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification / Experience:
- BE (Mechanical / Naval Architecture / Marine) with PEC – registered.
- Minimum 08 – 10 years of relevant experience in industrial sector.
- Candidates possess strong negotiation, leadership and technical communication abilities will be preferred.
- Age: Up to 55 years.

Position 2:

Position / Billet: AM (Mechanical)
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification / Experience:
- BE / B.Tech / DAE (Mechanical) from recognized institution.
- Minimum 03 years’ experience for BE candidates & 10-15 years for B.Tech / DAE candidates in ship repair, shipyard operations, marine engineering or project execution.
- Candidates understanding of ship repair processes, dry docking operations, Maint/Ops mechanical machinery marine systems & fabrications activities with knowledge of QHSE regulations will be preferred.
- Age: Up to 45 years.

Position 3:

Position / Billet: AM (Hull)
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification / Experience:
- BE / B.Tech / DAE (Mechanical/Hull/Construction/Naval Architecture) from recognized institution.
- Minimum 03 years’ experience for BE candidates & 10-15 years for B.Tech / DAE candidates in ship repair, shipyard operations, marine engineering or project execution.
- Candidates understanding of ship repair processes, dry docking operations, Maint/Ops mechanical machinery marine systems & fabrications activities with knowledge of QHSE regulations will be preferred.
- Age: Up to 45 years.

Position 4:

Position / Billet: Supervisor (Engineering Design)
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification / Experience:
- B.Tech/DAE (Mechanical) from recognized institution.
- Minimum 05 – 10 years hands-on experience in the drafting of steel structures, Barrage Gate and pressure Vessels and to make nesting plan, GA drawings and Fabrication drawings of various projects on AutoCAD.
- Candidates with excellent communication skills with hands-on experience in AutoCAD will be preferred.
- Age: Up to 45 years.

Position 5:

Position / Billet: Supervisor (Hull)
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification / Experience:
- B.Tech / DAE (Mechanical / Hull / Construction) or equivalent.
- Minimum 05 years of experience in similar supervisory role within a shipyard or marine environment.
- Candidates having proven experience in managing hot work / welding / fabrication projects will be preferred.
- Age: Up to 45 years.

Position 6:

Position / Billet: Senior Technical Assistant (QC-NDT)
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification / Experience:
- DAE / B.Tech (Mechanical/Metallurgy).
- Minimum 03 years’ experience in the field of NDT techniques.
- Candidates having NDT (RT, UT & DPT) certification will be preferred.
- Age: Up to 35 years.

Position 7:

Position / Billet: Driver
No. of Posts: 02
Qualification / Experience:
- Middle preferably Matric.
- Minimum 02 – 03 years’ experience of driving heavy vehicles or fire tenders with valid driving license.
- Age: Up to 45 years.
