We’re Hiring | Assistant Manager – Packing
International Steels Limited (ISL) is looking for an experienced and hands-on professional to join our Packing Department as Assistant Manager – Packing.
What You’ll Do:
Supervise day-to-day steel coil packing operations and ensure smooth workflow.
Lead the packing team with a focus on productivity, discipline, and skill development.
Ensure packing quality to minimize transit damage, corrosion, and customer complaints.
Manage packing materials and inventory, including VCI paper, GI sheets, and straps.
Monitor material consumption, productivity, and costs and drive cost-saving initiatives.
Prepare operational reports and monitor key packing KPIs.
Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure packing requirements are met efficiently and on time.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
4–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in steel, manufacturing, packing, or a similar industrial environment.
Hands-on experience in steel coil packing will be an advantage.
Strong team leadership, problem-solving, and operational management skills.
