ICI Pakistan Limited is hiring a Workshop Officer for its Soda Ash business based at its manufacturing facility in Khewra, Jhelum.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Workshop Officer is responsible for the day to day safe and efficient running of the rotary workshop and machine shop.
- Sound and thorough knowledge regarding safety measures and related industrial laws.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant codes and practices related to rotary workshop and machine shop.
- Experience in handling rigging and scaffolding activities.
- Expert in reading and interpretation of machinery and equipment drawings.
- Planning and monitoring work within the workshop.
- Able to assist the Workshop Manager in preparation of annual CAPEX and OPEX.
Other Skills:
- Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Candidates with experience of working on SAP will be preferred.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- People management skills; good IR skills and man-management capabilities to handle staff working under their supervision.
