Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Qualification: CA / ACCA / ICMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent with specialization in taxation.
- Experience: Minimum 5–8 years in taxation, including experience in corporate tax, sales tax, and withholding tax.
- Monitor compliance with applicable tax laws, rules, and regulations.
- Coordinate with tax department on compliance requirements.
- Provide guidance to management on the tax implications of business transactions.
- Ensure accurate deduction, deposit, and reporting of withholding taxes.
- Oversee sales tax compliance, refunds, and reconciliations.
- Represent the company in tax audits, hearings, and assessments.
- Prepare and submit responses to tax notices, queries, and appeals.
- Prepare periodic tax reports for management review.
- Ensure reconciliations between tax ledgers and financial statements.
- Keep updated on changes in tax laws and communicate their impact to management.
