Responsibilities:
- Part of a world-class team developing leading edge commerce platforms for a global audience
- Work with a distributed team in several locations around the world
- Produce high quality code, on time and on target
- Engineer software through its complete life-cycle
- Research and understand product requirements to ensure successful beta test, product launch, etc.
- Participate in testing and system integration testing
Requirements:
- 4+ years’ experience in PHP, LAMP and Web programming
- Expert level skills in PHP, HTML/ XHTML5, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, jQuery
- Magento 2.x Developer
- Must have the ability to develop Magento Modules and Customization, Extension Development.
- Demonstrable knowledge of API integration, Payment Gateways, Shipping etc.
- Full understanding of the Magento themes and templating systems.
- Strong understanding of Performance Tuning, Browser Compatibility, SEO Practices, and Version Control.
- Skilled in Linux, Apache, MySQL, Postgres
- Knowledge of PHP development framework(s)
- Experience in Object oriented development
- Experience in PHP based forum software would also be a benefit (phpBB, vBulletin, etc)
- Good communication skills in English
- Experience working with Git and DevOps process
- Experience with RedMine, ActiveCollab or other collaborative tools is an advantage
- Certifications in PHP and various database technologies is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
