We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Mechanical with a strong focus on Project Management. This role is crucial for driving our business forward and establishing benchmarks that align with the best industry practices.
The primary areas of focus and expertise for an ideal candidate are:
- Understanding project needs, Budgets, BOQs, Timelines etc.
- Detailed knowledge of Fabrication works, utilities, pumps, compressors, piping, valves, erection and commissioning with contractors & suppliers.
- Creating sustainable, cost-effective designs with stakeholders to meet the requirements with end users.
- Preparing designs, user requirement specs, and BOQs.
- Applying LEAN and TPM principles where applicable.
- Ensuring project quality and standards of work according to the user-requirement ensuring EHS at site.
- Coordination with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure budget & schedule tracking.
- Support the commissioning team in finalizing the punch list; verifying bills & invoices of vendors and co-ordination with procurement.
- Project closure & handing over with final documentation and reports to the end-users.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in mechanical project management, including workshop operations, piping, fabrication, utilities, wastewater systems, and water treatment systems.
- Strong knowledge of project phases, including design, execution, and closure.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, and SAP.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
The position will be based at the site in Feroze Wattwan, Sheikhupura.
