We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Denim Finishing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in finishing practices with a strong focus on quality and timely delivery. This role is crucial for driving our business forward and establishing benchmarks that align with the best industry practices.

The primary areas of focus and expertise for an ideal candidate are:

• Oversee the entire denim finishing process, ensuring all stages, including singeing, mercerization, washing, heat setting, and sanforizing, are executed efficiently.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality and efficiency across all finishing operations.
• Collaborate with production teams to set daily and weekly production targets, ensuring they align with overall business goals.
• Conduct regular quality checks at various stages of the finishing process to guarantee that finished products meet company specifications and customer requirements.
• Quickly identify and analyze any issues or holdups in the finishing process that could impact production or quality.
• Develop and implement effective corrective actions to resolve problems and prevent recurrence, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams to enhance workflow efficiency and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• In-depth knowledge of singeing and mercerization processes for denim fabric, including the ability to operate and maintain related machinery.
• Expertise in various washing techniques for denim, ensuring desired aesthetic and performance characteristics.
• Proficient in heat setting processes for different deniers of Lycra in denim, with a focus on optimizing fabric properties.
• Familiarity with sanforizing operations and the ability to manage shrinkage control effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to troubleshoot technical issues related to finishing processes.

Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Textile Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in denim finishing fabric processing, with a strong understanding of various finishing techniques.
The position will be based at the site in Feroze Wattwan, Sheikhupura.
