Position Title: Head Finance
Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of this position include:
Business Analysis and Reporting:
-Prepare and analyse financial reports for management and board nominees.
-Assess project-based financial data and develop analytical reports.
-Evaluate pricing strategies for competitive analysis and decision-making.
-Provide regular expense and sales analysis, highlighting performance vs. targets.
-Support business development in defining pricing, taxation, and legal aspects.
-Ensure timely financial completion of projects.
Cash Flow Management:
-Monitor daily cash inflows and outflows to ensure compliance with financial plans.
-Ensure availability of funds for timely salary disbursement.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
-Analyse past budgets to develop the annual budget.
-Present and justify budget proposals to management and the board.
-Monitor financial performance, comparing actual vs. forecasted budgets.
Financial Compliance and Auditing:
-Facilitate internal audits and ensure compliance with financial standards.
-Review audit reports, address non-compliances, and implement corrective actions.
-Revise financial SOPs and policies as needed.
Procurement Management:
-Ensure timely procurement while adhering to budget and pricing guidelines.
-Negotiate pricing and identify alternative suppliers when needed.
-Invoicing and Customer Management:
-Oversee invoicing processes to ensure timely and accurate billing.
-Monitor accounts receivable and recovery status.
Qualification: CA – Qualified
Experience: At least 5 to 7 years of post-article ship experience in relevant industry.
Location: Descon Headquarters – Lahore
