Position: Sales Support Specialist
Mission Statement: Facilitate CCBPL distributors in managing their business in more effective and efficient manner and to bring them as per standards laid down by the company. Helping the sales team to devote more time for business development by sharing the matters pertaining to distributor’s annual planning, infrastructure, system improvement, stock management and other dealing with the company.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensuring that distributors’ working standards are as per guidelines provided in the ‘KORE’ criteria and all the distributors are either maintaining those standards or are working towards that in all critical areas, e.g., warehousing infrastructure, inventory management, route information, HSE Compliance etc. Share areas of improvement with Distributor/Manager & ASM and make a plan for improving the scores and solving any problems
- Maintain an Updated Profile of the distributors, their sales force (DSF), details of the infrastructure, other critical business areas and documentation to be shared with HQ
- Distributor related complaints and claims to be followed and resolved within stipulated timeline
- Develop distribution capacity to achieve agreed SKU wise Finished Goods Inventory level at the distributor warehouse
- Facilitating the distributor to maintain the required stock cover days
- Support in timely disbursement of PSOs/DVOs Salaries & Incentives
- Preparation of distributor ‘Annual Business Plan’ in consultation with distributor and Area Sales Manager
- Ensuring that Voyage operations are managed as per the standards. Secondary Sales Booking, Primary Invoice Confirmation and 100% Voyage invoice compliance should be ensured.
- Work closely with Sales Training function in arranging the required training sessions and holding follow-up sessions/OJT with Distributor Warehouse staff (Non-Sales)
