JOB POSITION: BORJAN MODEL ROOM IC(SPU)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To supervise and develop the team of designers, pattern cutters, stitchers, upper and bottom man.
- Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and create product concepts.
- Ensure that product designs meet aesthetic, functional, and market-driven criteria.
- Review and approve design concepts, sketches, and prototypes.
- Oversee the selection of materials and manufacturing processes that meet quality, cost, and sustainability criteria.
- To ensure timely development of patterns based on tech packs provided by technical team and designers.
- To ensure timely development of initial trials, lasts and size sets.
- To ensure timely development of material specifications, skiving charts for cost sheets and BOM.
- To ensure timely developments of patterns for costing department.
- To develop patterns for cutting knives and tooling for initial samples and production trials.
- Coordinate product testing to ensure compliance with safety, performance, and regulatory standards.
- To ensure timely availability of specification sheets for newly developed articles to ensure Production Trials On production lines before starting bulk production.
- To work closely with purchase department to ensure timely availability of Production Tooling.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Footwear Technology, or a related field
- Work Experience: 8-12 years of relevant experience in footwear design and product development
- Age: 30-40 Years
