Beaconhouse National University is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Manager Communications and Outreach for its Department of Student Affairs & External Relations (DSAER).
Job Summary:
The Manager Communications and Outreach at Beaconhouse National University (BNU) will spearhead communication strategies and outreach programs to enhance the university’s visibility and reputation. This role involves managing a diverse team and overseeing comprehensive marketing and promotional activities. The Manager will ensure alignment with BNU’s branding guidelines and collaborate with various departments and external stakeholders to drive positive media coverage, attract high-quality students, and effectively promote university events and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
-Team Management:
Lead and supervise a diverse team including social media specialists, content creators, designers, and student influencers.
Provide guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards.
-Liaison and Collaboration:
Collaborate with ORIP, Office of Special Initiatives, and BNU Centre for Policy Research on marketing campaigns.
Maintain relationships with schools, colleges, media, and corporate partners.
-Marketing and Promotion:
Oversee marketing, advertising, and promotional activities across various media to boost BNU’s visibility.
Develop annual marketing plans with schools and departments to attract quality students.
-Brand Management:
Ensure consistent branding and visual representation in all university promotional materials.
-Event Promotion and Organization:
Market and coordinate key events like Bestival, MUN, and BNU Convocation.
Organize Open Days, webinars, and outreach presentations.
-Stakeholder Engagement:
Represent BNU at career fairs and expos.
Secure sponsorships and partnerships for events.
-Additional Duties:
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director, Student Relations and External Relations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, with substantial experience in a managerial role.
- Proven experience managing a diverse team including social media, web content, design, and multimedia professionals.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management, digital marketing tools, and web content platforms.
- Ability to develop and manage budgets effectively.
- Experience in higher education or a similar sector is an advantage.
