We are looking for LAW OFFICER

Key Responsibilities

Assist in handling litigation of the Bank.
Appear before the courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities on behalf of the Bank, as and when required.
Provide legal advice on routine banking transactions, operations, contracts, internal and external policies, regulatory and court related matters.
Draft and review a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documentation including lending agreements, vendor contracts, service level agreements, and legal notices.
Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and banking practices.
Engage and liaise with external lawyers for devising legal strategy and representing the Bank’s interests in court proceedings.
Collaborate with different departments to provide legal assistance on matters that arise within the Bank.

Qualifications

LLB or LLM from a recognized university (preference will be given to candidates with foreign qualifications).
A valid license from the concerned bar council to practice law in Pakistan.
2-4 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the banking or financial sector, with a focus on litigation and legal advisory support.

Skills

Exceptional drafting and reviewing skills for a wide range of legal documents.
Capable of offering innovative legal solutions while protecting Bank’s interests.
In-depth knowledge of banking and financial laws, company law, labour law, and contract law.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

We are looking for MANAGER Legal

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert legal advice on routine banking operations, internal and external policies, financial products (Islamic & Conventional), regulatory and court related matters, lending and borrowing, to ensure full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Draft and review a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documentation including lending agreements, vendor contracts, service level agreements, and legal notices.
Oversee the management of all litigation cases involving the Bank, including civil, criminal, and regulatory matters.
Engage and liaise with external lawyers as required, coordinating the legal strategy and representing the bank’s interests in court proceedings.
Collaborate with different departments to provide legal assistance on matters that arise within the Bank.
Identify legal risks to the Bank and advice on solutions to manage and mitigate such risks.
Provide support for the Bank’s initiatives in mergers, acquisitions, investments, and manage legal aspects of intellectual property, trademarks, and Bank’s patents.

Qualifications

LLB or LLM from a recognized university (preference will be given to candidates with foreign qualifications).

3-6 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the banking or financial sector, with a focus on litigation and legal advisory support.
