Product Manager 📍 Karachi, Pakistan
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead end-to-end product development from concept, research, and strategy through design, development, manufacturing, packaging, and successful market launch.
- Develop product strategies and roadmaps by identifying market opportunities, customer needs, product requirements, specifications, timelines, pricing, and integrated launch plans.
- Conduct market and customer research to understand consumer needs, validate product concepts, gather customer feedback, and identify opportunities for current and future product lines.
- Analyze competitive landscape by benchmarking company products against competitors and recommending product, packaging, positioning, and specification improvements.
- Drive new product development and commercialization by translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes, conducting ROI analysis, and establishing development schedules with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient development, quality control, testing, optimal resource utilization, and fast time-to-market.
- Lead product launches and market growth by developing packaging, pricing, positioning, and launch strategies, coordinating implementation, and acting as a product evangelist to build awareness and drive product success.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and content, and participating in professional societies.
- Build and manage the product team through recruitment, training, performance management, work allocation, and deadline tracking, while maintaining technical expertise and representing the company with customers to gather insights and promote products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field.
- 5+ years of product development experience in FMCG.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal relationships and cross-functional collaboration.
