𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 – 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 (𝗦𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀)
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Purchase (Stitching & Packaging Materials) to manage the procurement of stitching, packaging, trims, consumables, and other production-related materials at Head office, Karachi.
𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:- 4–6 years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement.
- Strong experience in purchasing stitching accessories, trims, packaging materials, and production consumables.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:-
- Manage end-to-end purchasing of stitching materials, packaging materials, trims, accessories, and production consumables.
- Source and evaluate vendors based on quality, price, lead time, and reliability.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Ensure timely availability of materials as per production and dispatch requirements.
- Maintain and develop a reliable supplier/vendor database.
- Obtain quotations, conduct price comparisons, and prepare purchase recommendations.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Merchandising, Quality, and Finance for material requirements.
- Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, shortages, and pending supplies.
- Ensure purchased materials meet approved quality and specification standards.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
- Maintain proper procurement records and ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures.
