General Manager – Education Office, Chitral
Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan (AKES, Pakistan) is seeking an accomplished and visionary leader for the position of General Manager, Chitral. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving educational excellence, school improvement, operational effectiveness, and stakeholder engagement across the region.
The ideal candidate should possess at least a Master’s degree (16 years of education) from an HEC-recognized institution in Education, Educational Leadership, Educational Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or another relevant discipline. A higher qualification, including an MPhil, MS, MBA, or PhD, will be considered an added advantage.
Candidates should have a minimum of 8-10 years of progressively responsible professional experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership or management role, preferably within the education, development, public, or not-for-profit sector. Experience in leading geographically dispersed teams, managing complex operations, driving institutional performance, and engaging with multiple stakeholders will be highly desirable.
