The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:
01 — Position / Job Title: Relationship Manager — Corporate Banking (OG – II / OG – I)
Reporting to: Unit Head — Corporate Banking
Educational / Professional Qualification
• Minimum Graduation in Business Studies / Finance / Commerce / Economics / Accounting / Engineering / relevant field or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
• Candidates having a Master’s degree and / or professional qualification such as CA / ICMA / ACCA or CMA and / or relevant certification(s) and / or additional certifications, such as CFA (any level) or FRM would be preferred
Experience
• Minimum 02 years of experience in Banking Industry, out of which 01 year in Corporate Credit and / or Corporate Lending
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required
• Financial analysis with strong write-up skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Analytical mindset, ownership and ability to work under pressure
• Strong capability in preparing credit memos and managing client engagements
• Sound understanding of SBP Commercial / Corporate borrower regulations and credit products for large borrowers
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
• To prepare credit proposals ensuring quality, accuracy, data integrity and adherence to the Bank’s policies and guidelines and to submit and recommend business proposals through the process chain for necessary approvals
• To prepare routine business call reports, facility letters, sanction advices and other internal and external correspondences in line with the Bank’s policies and guidelines, as and when required
• To achieve the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) assigned in terms of asset book building, cross-selling, including FX, Trade Finance, and other products & services offered by the Bank
• To manage corporate banking relationships with existing and potential clients with a view to grow further business while protecting the Bank’s asset quality and position
• To assess customers’ wallets and cross-sell opportunities, and develop plans to increase shares of wallet
• To collaborate with internal business, product partners and stakeholders, including client coverage and risk mitigators to stay up to date on client relationships and maintain constant communication with internal partners to provide seamless service to clients
• To proactively monitor the growth of the assigned portfolio and monitor profitability of individual accounts by collating, analyzing and interpreting information from various sources
• To assist Unit Head in implementing the business strategy, responsible for client / business origination and coverage, as well as achieve sales / business targets, in terms of the number of clients acquired and maintained as well as the revenue generated
• To keep abreast with all regulatory guidelines (including, but not limited to, State Bank of Pakistan’s Prudential Regulations) as well as internal requirements of the Bank (including credit policies) and ensure strict compliance
• To maintain NBP’s internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
• To drive the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices within the function taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
• To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type

Experience
- Minimum 01 year of working experience of Client Relationship Management and / or Social Services and / or in Internal Communication and / or Public Relations and / or Article Writing
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required
- Knowledge of content design
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, Online Video Conferencing Applications (Zoom, Meet, Teams etc.) and other related applications
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
- To support in the development of content for emails, intranet, newsletter, social media, and other internal communication channels
- To support social media initiatives to increase engagement and strengthen employer branding
- To support the development of communication campaigns that foster employee engagement
- To coordinate with internal stakeholders to execute assigned tasks
- To develop and coordinate internal communication campaigns, announcements, newsletters, and employee messages
- To support communication of organizational initiatives, programs, achievements, and key updates
- To coordinate with relevant departments to gather information and convert it into engaging communication content
- To support the development and maintenance of communication calendars and content plans
- To ensure timely dissemination of approved communications across relevant employee groups
- To coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, where required, for communication activities
- To create and coordinate communication content for digital platforms, including newsletters, intranet, emails, presentations, posters, banners, and digital screens
- To maintain an organized repository of communication materials and approved content
- To support preparation of corporate communication material for external stakeholders, where applicable
- To maintain communication activity trackers, calendars, and records for audit, governance, and management reporting purposes
- To update communication calendar and activity tracker
- To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)
