ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF CONSTABLE, LADY CONSTABLE, DRIVER CONSTABLE (DISTRICTS RAHIM YAR KHAN AND RAJANPUR – PUNJAB POLICE)

Recruitment is open for vacant positions of Constables, Lady Constables, and Driver Constables (BS-07) with prevailing allowances in the Punjab Police for Districts Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur. Applications on prescribed forms are invited from eligible candidates domiciled in Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur according to the following criteria. Candidates must fulfill the specified standards.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CONSTABLE & LADY CONSTABLE (CIVIL CANDIDATES)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES

• All candidates can download the application form from the official Punjab Police website: https://punjabpolice.gov.pk/.
• Application forms along with attested photocopies of educational certificates, required documents, and a application fee of Rs. 300/- must be submitted to the respective District Police Lines from 12.10.2026 to 31.10.2026.
• Information regarding the recruitment schedule can be obtained from the respective District Police Office (DPO) and Police Lines.
• No relaxation will be granted in height, chest, qualification, or age limits.
• Government and semi-government employees must submit their application forms through proper channels along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC); failure to do so will result in disqualification.
• Quotas Specified:
  • o    5% quota is reserved for minority candidates.
  • 15% quota for Constable posts is reserved for women.
  • 10% quota for Constable and Driver Constable posts is reserved for retired armed forces personnel.
  • Physical standard (Height, Chest, Qualification, Domicile) for ex-servicemen remains the same as civil candidates.
  • Age for Ex-Servicemen: After deducting the period of military service from the candidate’s current age, the remaining age must be 22 years or less. Furthermore, current age should not exceed 40 years, and period since retirement should not exceed 2 years.
  • Individuals discharged or dismissed from military service due to misconduct, medical grounds, or disciplinary action are not eligible to apply.

Note:

• Candidates will undergo physical measurement (height/chest), running test, driving test (only for Driver Constable), written test, and interview.
• Candidates seeking extra marks under the Police Family Claim must attach all relevant documents (e.g., Pension Book, Certificate, Discharge Copy, Family History) with the application form.
• All candidates must declare in an affidavit that they have never been named, involved, or wanted in any FIR or criminal case. Submitting a false affidavit will lead to disqualification from recruitment in the police, and legal action will be initiated. If found false at any stage, the candidature will be canceled.
• If any candidate’s educational documents, domicile, CNIC, driving license, or medical certificate are found to be fake or unverified during verification at any stage, their recruitment will be canceled, and legal proceedings will be executed.
• Only candidates whose applications are complete will be eligible for physical measurements. No reimbursement/TA-DA will be paid for expenses incurred during recruitment stages. Physical tests will take place at the respective District Police Lines.
• If a candidate qualifies for more than one position, they must choose one post before the interview and submit an affidavit in this regard. After submitting the affidavit, candidacy for other posts will be canceled.
