Department: Business Development & Marketing
Reports To: Business Development/Marketing Manager

Role Summary: We are seeking a proactive Assistant Manager – Business Development to support day-to-day marketing, digital presence, and lead generation activities. This role combines social media/content management, vendor coordination, event representation, and telemarketing to support the company’s BD pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and operate all company social media handles (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), ensuring consistent and professional posting.
Draft and post regular content about ongoing projects, completed works, and relevant technical/industry updates.
Manage the company’s marketing/official email account, including responding to inquiries and outbound communication.
Represent the company at industry expos, trade shows, and exhibitions to identify and engage potential clients.
Conduct telemarketing/cold-calling to generate and qualify leads.
Research, compile, and maintain an updated database/list of potential vendors and suppliers.
Support the BD Manager in preparing marketing materials, client presentations, and proposals.
Coordinate follow-ups with leads generated through digital channels, expos, and calls.
Maintain records of client interactions, inquiries, and vendor communications (Excel tracking).
Assist in organizing company participation in exhibitions/events (logistics, booth material, follow-up leads).

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or related field.
Comfortable managing multiple social media platforms and creating engaging technical /project-based content.
Good written and verbal communication skills (email correspondence, client calls).
Confident and presentable — able to represent the company at expos and client meetings.
Basic understanding of vendor sourcing/database management.
Prior experience in telemarketing or lead generation is a plus (freshers with strong communication skills may also apply).
Willingness to travel for exhibitions/events as required.

Department: Business Development & Marketing Reports To: Director / GM – BD & Marketing

Role Summary: We are looking for an experienced Business Development/Marketing Manager to drive the company’s growth strategy, build brand visibility in the power/energy EPC sector, and generate qualified leads for our boiler and thermal power plant projects. The ideal candidate will both design the marketing/BD strategy and take ownership of executing it.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the company’s overall marketing and business development strategy aligned with organizational growth targets.
Identify new business opportunities in the EPC/power generation sector (domestic and export markets).
Build and manage relationships with EPC contractors, industrial clients, consultants, and government bodies.
Lead generation, client engagement, and conversion of leads into project inquiries/tenders.
Plan and oversee participation in industry exhibitions, trade shows, and conferences.
Oversee preparation of proposals, pre-qualification documents, and presentations for prospective clients.
Manage brand positioning across digital and offline channels, working closely with the marketing/BD team.
Track industry trends, competitor activity, and market intelligence in the power/thermal/boiler manufacturing space.
Report on marketing ROI, pipeline status, and BD performance to senior management.
Coordinate with technical/engineering teams to align marketing content and proposals with project capabilities.

Requirements:

MBA (Marketing/Business Administration or related field).
Prior experience in business development/marketing preferred, ideally within EPC, power generation, heavy engineering, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
Proven ability to design strategy and drive its execution.
Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
Familiarity with tendering/proposal processes in the industrial/EPC space is a plus.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and exhibitions.
