Job Overview:
To manage, lead, and execute the end-to-end regulatory compliance, AML/CFT risk framework and statutory reporting for AKD Securities Limited as a prominent listed brokerage house. Serves as the primary statutory liason with regulatory and market infrastructure entities including the SECP, PSX, NCCPL, PMEX, and the financial monitoring unit (FMU).
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead regulatory compliance, risk management, and AML/CFT framework.
• Oversee KYC, CDD/EDD, UBO verification, sanctions screening, FATCA & CRS compliance.
• Manage regulatory reporting and liaison with SECP, PSX, CDC, NCCPL, PMEX & FMU.
• Lead regulatory inspections, audits, compliance reviews and timely resolution of observations.
• Monitor trading activities and conduct surveillance to identify market abuse, insider trading front running and other regulatory breaches.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Finance, Law, MBA, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institution.
• 8–10+ years of capital markets experience, including 3–5 years in senior compliance leadership.
• Strong knowledge of SECP regulations, PSX, CDC/NCCPL protocols, and AML/CFT laws.
• Strong analytical, investigative, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Must meet SECP Fit & Proper Criteria with a clean regulatory record.
