Highpoint Ventures (Pvt) Ltd. is looking for an “Assistant Manager Accounts & Finance” to join its team!
Position Title: Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate recording of day-to-day transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, credit card transactions, and payroll.
- Perform timely and accurate month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., net assets, investments, revenue, expenses, payroll allocations).
- Ensure proper revenue and expense recognition in line with accounting standards.
- Monitor cash and investment balances and prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure compliance of all finance and accounting operations with GAAP and applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
- Assist the Director of Finance and budget managers in developing, monitoring, and controlling departmental, project, and organizational budgets.
- Perform fiscal year-end close activities and assist with external audit requirements.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and improve accounting and finance processes through technology, including training staff on financial systems.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
ACCA / CA Inter qualification preferred.
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the retail or FMCG sector.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
