Job Title: Head of Applications & Transformation
Function: CIO Applications & Transformation
Qualifications: Bachelors (4 Years) or Masters in Information Technology (16 Years of Education), Telecommunications, Computer Sciences, Management Information System
Location: Karachi
Experience: 10-15 years of professional experience in technology / financial / payments industry

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure smooth services of 1LINK production applications, databases and Development environment.
Manage cross functional teams.
Assist in devising the IT strategy and ensure its alignment with business.
Provide technical support to member banks and third-party service providers.
Formulate SOPs to streamline core business processes.

Job Requirements:

Strong exposure to real-time payment processing
Strong knowledge of HSMs, ISO8583, Global Payment Schemes (VISA, MasterCard, CUP, JCB), Settlement & Reconciliation, EMV (Terminal, Card, Host) Certification Processes
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, Operating Systems inner working

Able to get PA-DSS done(wherever applicable) & ensure Secure Development Life Cycle practices for any existing/future in-house applications
Provide continuing support and system metrics for in-house developed products.
Recognize potential issues as they arise and escalate appropriately.

Job Requirements:

Must be able to design, write, debug code with team if needed – Past development experience in Payments systems is a plus
Strong knowledge of HSMs, ISO8583, Global Payment Schemes (VISA, MasterCard, CUP, JCB), Settlement & Reconciliation, EMV (Terminal, Card, Host) Certification Processes
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, Operating Systems internals
