The City School is looking to fill the position of Guidance Counsellor at their DHA and PWD campuses in Islamabad.

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct RAISEC tests to assess students’ aptitude and interests.
- Maintain Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for all students.
- Provide one-on-one guidance counselling sessions.
- Mentor students on subject selection, co-curricular activities, and career pathways.
- Establish the basis for college applications.
- Guide students towards standardized test preparation (SAT, MDCAT, ECAT, etc.).
- Actively engage students in co-curricular activities such as sports and public speaking.
- Liaise with external parties for students’ profile development.
- Organize sessions with alumni and industry leaders on various subjects.
- Build the overall profile of students, focusing on academics and well-being.
- Help students understand and overcome social or behavioral problems through individual counseling sessions.
- Ensure every student takes the RAISEC test and guides them in choosing their course of study (Matric/O levels) accordingly (15%).
- Increase retention of students for A levels/FSC (15%) (target to be given by region/business development).
- Work on the career goals and ensure the completion of each student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) (30%), aligning parents, instructors, and student interests.
- Facilitate student profile-building activities, ensuring involvement in community work, internships, competitions, and summer schools (20%).
- Follow at least 80% of the recommended activities, keeping records and posting approved activities on the school’s social media pages (20%).
- Arrange an annual career day and conduct one Professional/Alumni connect twice a term (10%), bringing professionals and industry experts for sessions on personal and professional grooming of students.
