Position: Costing Executive
Location: Karachi
EXPERIENCE: Candidate should have working experience of 3 to 5 years (OMC experience is preferable).
QUALIFICATION: Candidate should be Business graduate with majors in Finance or ACCA / ICMA finalists.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and reconcile inventory levels across multiple locations, including terminals.
- Analyze inventory costs and provide insights to management.
- Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure effective and timely reconciliation of inventory and costs.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures tailored to the complexities of the oil and marketing industry.
- Prepare and analyze cost reports, including standard costs, variances, and margin analysis for various product lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities, process improvements, and supply chain optimization initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections, taking into account market dynamics and industry trends.
- Provide support during financial audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and internal policies.
