Team Lead Checkout

Education: Matric / Intermediate

Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 Years of Hands on Experience in Food Retail specifically in leading Checkout Department

Skills & Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Operate the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately.
• Scan items, ensure correct pricing, and handle various payment methods (cash, credit/debit cards, vouchers).
• Bag and package purchases carefully to prevent damage.
• Answer customer questions regarding store policies, promotions, and product locations.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking necessary supplies.
• Balance the cash register at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
• Assist with returns and exchanges as needed.
• Promote store loyalty programs and special offers to customers.
