Hiring Network Administrator

Work closely with our IT team to support the daily operations of our network systems and implement improvements as needed.

Job Description:

As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will work closely with our IT team to support the daily operations of our network systems and implement improvements as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage the network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, with a focus on Fortinet products and Cisco switches.
  Configure and manage VLANs and VPNs on Cisco switches.
• Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining security measures, including Fortinet firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus solutions.
• Perform regular network maintenance, updates, and backups.
  Manage IP address allocation and DNS/DHCP services.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to support server and application infrastructure.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and changes.
  Provide technical support to end-users and resolve network-related issues.
  Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and best practices, particularly Fortinet and Cisco solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
  Strong knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, and firewall management.
• Experience with Fortinet products and solutions.
• Proficiency with VLAN and VPN configuration on Cisco switches.
• Proficiency with network security practices and tools.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE) are highly desirable.
