Accountant – Cashier
Responsibilities:
- Cash Handling: Manage daily cash transactions, including receiving payments, issuing receipts, and balancing the cash drawer.
- Accounting: Maintain accurate financial records, including preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and managing ledgers.
- Invoicing: Generate and process invoices, ensuring timely collection of payments.
- Banking: Handle bank deposits, transfers, and reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and report on company expenses, ensuring all are accounted for and within budget.
- Customer Service: Assist customers with payment inquiries and ensure a smooth transaction process.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate in Accounting, Finance or other similar field/ACCA.
- Experience: Previous experience in accounting and cash handling is required.
- Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
