NCCPL Jobs System Operation Engineer:

NCCPL is looking for System Operation Engineer

REQUISITES:

Education: BS/BE in Computer Science/ Information Technology from HEC approved institute.

Experience: At least 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Specifications:

• Knowledge regarding Installation, Configuration, Customization, Performance Tuning, Backup & Recovery of IBM AIX & Linux Operating Systems along with IBM PowerVM, and other Virtual Environments such as Citrix or VMware.
• Working knowledge of Docker & Container environment, setup creation and backup & recovery plans arrangements along with necessary documentations.
• Administer system performance and reports generation.
• Analyze system logs and identifying potential issues.
• Good troubleshooting skills – must take a proactive approach in resolving issues.
• Should be familiar with shell scripting and be well versed in systems documentation, including procedures and Policies.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and end-of-day activities.
• Flexible to manage working in shifts for smooth business operations and extend support as per need.

Other Competencies:

• Ability to work within a team (a proactive team player who can perform under pressure situations and meet deadlines).
• Good communication skill, decision making and problem-solving skills with can-do attitude.

Location: Karachi
