Position: Assistant Manager Pre-Audit
Location: Karachi
Last Date to Apply: 30 September 2023
Position Criteria: Member of recognized body of professional accountants (ACMA, ACCA, CA etc) preferably CA with 03 years of experience. MBA / M.Com or 16 years education in relevant field with 05 years of experience. Preference will be given to individuals having experience with logistics & construction organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out proper pre-audit of Contingent Bills, TA / DA Claims, RARs, Retention Money, Escalation Money and Final Bills (pertaining to Sub-Contractors) and any other claim / bill.
- Ensure proper conduct of all pre – audit functions.
- Ensure compliance with all the necessary NLC SOPS as well as Government Rules & Regulations. Ensure that the expenditure is being authorized by Competent Authority.
- Deduct all applicable Taxes and Cost of Stores issued on payment.
- Ensure that the advance payments are secured by Bank.
- Carry out Risk and Cost Analysis.
- Supervise staff for calculation of each amount and invoice with reference to purchase order / BOQ / MB / RAR and contract.
