Position: Research Fellows Required (02 Positions)

The National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA), a research and think tank affiliated with Bahria University, invites applications for two Research Fellow positions focused on maritime sector research in Karachi.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Educational Requirement: Ph.D. in Maritime (Ports & Shipping) Management, Maritime Trade and Logistics, Environmental Studies, or any related discipline within the maritime domain.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of research experience in the relevant field.
  • Candidates with an MPhil/Master’s degree with 20 years of relevant maritime research or field experience may also apply.
• Skills Required:
  • Strong analytical and academic capabilities with excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of supervising and leading research projects within a think tank, university, or similar organization.

Terms of Employment:

• Eligibility: Candidates with degrees from HEC-recognized national or international universities are eligible.
• Contract Details: The positions are initially for three years, with the possibility of extension based on performance. Market-level remuneration will be offered.
