• Must be able to read and understand medical terminologies and medical documentation.
• Responsible in making sure the assigned codes meet all federal, legal and insurance regulations so service payments are obtained in a timely fashion.
• Coding professionals primarily have the task of organizing, compiling and translating the medical treatment information.
