Vacancy Positions: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Islamabad invites applications from qualified, experienced, and motivated individuals for the following MP-I Scale position on a contractual basis, as per the prevailing policy.

Available Position

Technical Advisor (MP-I Scale)

• Number of Posts: 01
• Qualification & Experience:
  • Ph.D. in Journalism, Mass Communication, International Relations, Media Management, Strategic Communication, Development Communication, Crisis Communication, or Media Technology from an HEC-recognized university with 07 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
  • Master’s degree in the above-mentioned subjects with 09 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Maximum Age: 62 years

1. Recruitment will be based on merit as per MP Scale policy-2020.
2. Detailed Terms of Reference (ToRs) regarding qualification, experience, expertise, and shortlisting criteria are available at the National Job Portal (https://www.njp.gov.pk/) and the official website of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (http://www.moib.gov.pk/).
3. Eligible candidates must apply online via the National Job Portal within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication, no later than March 29, 2025.
4. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
5. Maximum age limit: 62 years (calculated as of the closing date for applications).
6. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
