Terms & Conditions:

These appointments shall be purely on a contract basis as per Contract Policy 2006 of GoAJK for an initial period of 03 years (extendable) or as specified by the Government subsequently.
Posts may be increased or decreased according to requirements.
Selected candidates shall have to abide by the rules and regulations of PM&DC and the institution.
All vacancies will be filled purely on a merit basis.
The appointment during the period of contract shall be liable for termination with a 30-day prior notice on either side or on payment of one month’s pay in lieu thereof without assigning any reason.
Monthly salary shall be liable for tax deduction at the source as per law.
Age limits apply as per Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) Rules/Policy.
In respect of other matters not specified in this contract, the rules and regulations of the AJ&K Government shall apply.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.
The appointee must join the institution after receiving the offer letter from the principal office within the prescribed period. Failure to join within the specified time will result in blacklisting for any future employment in any of the public sector medical colleges of AJ&K.
Accommodation shall not be provided.
The selected faculty must be physically present in the college/hospital on duty for a minimum of 6 hours every working day. Any duration less than 6 hours per day will be considered as part-time faculty as per PM&DC rules, which is not permissible under prevailing rules; therefore, such faculty members will be marked absent from duty for that day.
Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
Candidates must bring all original documents at the time of the interview.
Preference will be given to state subjects.

Applications for each vacancy must be submitted separately along with complete documents/envelopes, marked accordingly.
Following documents (in printed form) are required to be submitted with the application at the address given below within 15 working days after the advertisement:
- Attested copies of all relevant certificates, degrees (Matric, Intermediate, MBBS, M.Phil, FCPS, Ph.D.), diplomas, experience certificates, articles, and accreditation/experience certificate/eligibility certificate (for the applied post).
- Detailed Curriculum Vitae of the applicant, covering letter clearly highlighting the post applied for, eligibility criteria, and personal attributes with contact number.
- Valid PMC/PM&DC registration certificate.
- Photocopy of CNIC, Domicile, PRC (if applicable).

For Departmental Health Candidates:

Applicants already working in teaching hospitals of the medical college must process their applications through the proper channel. Advance copies of the documents mentioned above will be entertained after the approval of Secretary Health Govt. of AJ&K. Direct appointments will not be considered.
Departmental candidates will draw their salary against their respective/substantive posts in DoH. However, they may be entertained for teaching allowances as per budgetary provision/policy approval of the Govt. of AJ&K.
