VACANT POSITIONS: Kinnaird College for Women invites applications from bright and motivated candidates for the following positions:

TEACHING POSITION

Department: English Literature

Position: Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor

Requirements:

Along with HEC defined appointment criteria:
- Minimum two years of post-PhD experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.
- Preference will be given to the applicants with at least 01 research publication in W category journal within the last three years post-PhD OR 05 research publications either X or Y category journal within last five years post-PhD.
- Age of the applicant should be between 25-60 years.

ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS

Position (Department): Deputy Director (Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness)

Job Profile:

The incumbent will assist the Director Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness in implementing the College’s Quality Policy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting all operational affairs of the office in teaching quality and drafting preliminary reports for internal/external reviews (RIPE and PRE).

Requirements:

Masters/MS/MPhil or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field with three years of relevant experience.
Masters or equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with five years of relevant experience.

Position (Department): Office Assistant (Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness)

Job Profile:

The incumbent will be responsible for managing spreadsheets and office programs, assisting in drafting minutes of meetings, letters, answering phone calls, or any other tasks assigned by the Director Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness.

Requirements:

Masters or equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field.
Bachelor’s or equivalent degree awarded after 14 years of education with three years of relevant experience.

Position (Department): Project Coordinator (Kinnaird Archive Centre)

Job Profile:

Responsible for managing a growing archival repository showcasing the women-centric legacy of Kinnaird College for Women. He/she will work with the Head of Department to employ best practices in the field of archiving to bring the institution to the international archival standards. The incumbent will also assist in developing the archive collections for research, teaching, and outreach to the community.

Requirements:

MPhil or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field.
Masters or equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with ten years of relevant experience.

Position (Department): Office Assistant to Academic Dean

Job Profile:

The incumbent will be the contact between the Dean and other colleagues (academic & administrative) within the institution, assisting in maintaining academic schedules.

Requirements:

Masters or equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field.
Bachelor’s or equivalent degree awarded after 14 years of education with three years of relevant experience.

Position (Department): Office Assistant

Job Profile:

Responsible for performing duties such as drafting letters, managing office data, office supplies, and arranging meeting schedules for the department, along with other tasks assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or equivalent degree awarded after 14 years of education with three years of relevant experience.
