Khushhali Microfinance Bank Limited is looking for a Regional Legal Officer – SAM (Multan) Apply

We’re looking for:

Required Education & Experience:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Law and enrolled as an Advocate. Two
to Three Years’ of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Litigation Tasks
   A) Monitoring of Cases/Complaints/Petitions/Appeals etc. filed by and against the Bank:
   Study cases; keep abreast with the happening/outcome of dates of hearing and suggest further course of action/devise strategy. Manage litigation portfolio, attend dispute resolution matters, collections claims, commercial transactions, contract disputes, property damage, lease matters etc.
   B) Processing of Approvals & Maintaining of MIS
   Processing and screening of approvals for payment of legal expenses, including professional fees, court fees, auction expenses etc. Negotiation of fee and other expenses with dealing lawyers.
   Maintain MIS record of cases filed against the Bank/filed by the Bank with updated proceedings.
   Ensure that high level secrecy and privacy for all legal data is maintained for the organization.

2. Legal
   Tasks Supportive & assist Line Manager in the assessment of legal documents of the Bank to ensure legal protection.
   Manage litigation portfolio, dispute resolution matters, collections claims,
   commercial transactions, contract disputes etc. Provide,
   assistance and advice in all court cases, complaints, legal notices and other
   litigation, civil as well as criminal, by or against the bank and suggest Line
   Manager further course.
   Share information and relevant documents together with facts of the case with the Bank’s Advocates through concerned stakeholders, for filing or contesting the cases on proper track.

Skills

• Thorough knowledge of Civil, Criminal, Labor, Evidence and Banking Laws and Practices.
• Strong oral presentation & communication skills.
  Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Required Education & Experience:
· Preferably Master’s in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Agriculture, Banking or Accounting from an HEC recognized university.
· Minimum 6 years of experience as the leader of regional recovery unit

Responsibilities:

Business Growth

· Job requires leadership skills which lead to manage a self-motivated team of professionals to purse outstanding debt.
· To create new techniques and steps to get the job done with maximum effectiveness.
· To ensure across the board utilization of recovery system and monitoring of productivity MIS of recovery
· Ensure minimum wavier are given via settlements
· Ensure TAT is not burst of cash slips received (5 working days).

· To make sure that recovery team is well trained and have complete knowledge of work.
· To conduct one on one session with the staff and held regular monthly group session to appraise the staff about the business growth and recovery performance.
· To share critical MIS’s with critical staff
· To monitor respective supervisor’s performance.
· Deploy, on demand, skilled resource to verify demographics and validate documents submitted to the bank seeking credit facility.

Portfolio Management

· Assist fraud prevention function by deploying field agents on fraud recovery tasks on a need basis.
· Maintain open and effective communication with legal consults office and RHQ to facilitate successful settlement of debit through legal action

· To ensure that proper infrastructure remains in place all the time and any/ all issues related to infrastructure is resolved on priority basis
· To serve as the holder of strict adherence to productivity standards of collections.

Service Quality

· Maintain open and effective communication with legal consults office and RHQ to facilitate successful settlement of debit through legal action.
· Address customer complaints in line with KMBL complaint handling guidelines
· Ensure that all Customer Services related complains/ queries to be resolved within TAT
· Forward Flows to be maintained within assigned targets

Compliance

· To look after the performance of all the collections staff (tele-callers, Field officer, Collection officer and Collection supervisor)
· Liaison between the management and down the line staff.
· Thoroughly review Prudential Regulations for MFBs to ensure policy compliance
