Key Responsibilities;
- Liquidity Management
Generate liquidity and place excess liquidity for the bank in the money market.
Co-ordinate with branches on their liquidity requirements and ensure uninterrupted funding to the branches.
Maximize investment portfolio return.
Arbitrage transaction to increase treasury return. - Money Market & Back Office
Making daily money market liquidity position on blotter, generate Gap & Security MTM Reports.
Co-ordinate with back office on settlement issues.
Co-ordinate with back office for maintaining of the regulatory as well internal limits of liquidity reserves. - Developing Market relationship
Development of relationships with new financial institutions and secure funding lines in accordance with the assigned target.
Manage existing client and expand portfolios. - Implementation of Treasury Policies
Assist line manager in developing and implementing treasury policy framework.
Assist line manager for preparation of ALCO reports. - Treasury Policies and Procedure
· Assist line manager for the development of the treasury policies and procedures.
· Co-ordinate with the line manager for preparation of ALCO working papers and other reports as assigned by the line manager. Educational Qualification
MBA or Master degree in accounting/finance from a HEC recognized/overseas institution.
Skills;
· Strong analytical, quantitative, organization and communication skills.
· Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
· Sound knowledge of treasury operations
· Ability to independently conduct financial statement analysis
· Willing to travel and relocate.
· Highly proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications and inclined towards working in a technology-driven environment.
Duration and Nature of Previous Experience;
At least 5 years work experience as dealer with a financial institution having good knowledge of financial instruments, SBP guide lines/regulations.
