About the department:
In Sales, in close collaboration with other internal stakeholders, we are responsible for generating product revenue in line with the Novo Nordisk Way. We build effective relationships and build synergies that support Novo Nordisk’s solutions for customers. We strive to achieve ambitious goals in line with Novo Nordisk’s strategy and are accountable for results, whether individual or team. We focus on strengthening Novo Nordisk’s leadership in all product areas.
We are located in Karachi, office of more than 200 engaged people all supporting our affiliate with challenges related to sales, Marketing, Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, HR, Finance, IT and Legal. The sales department consists of 80% of the organization and have diverse professionals helping the patients and the Health Care Practitioner.
Your responsibility is to manage and coordinate the overall sales team activities and to achieve sales targets and activity targets. To develop individuals as effective /efficient team through coaching and training the sales team, maintain a healthy working environment for sales force as an equal opportunity work place, to maintain healthy working climate and appropriate communication with other supporting functions, to evaluate & analyse the market information, plan necessary actions, execute them and follow-up to work place, to be responsible to intact with ethics, in relations with customers, doctors, opinion leaders, institution/distributors etc, responsible to provide support to the Head of Sales by controlling costs of overall sales department, to comply with principles and internal rules & regulations of Novo Nordisk and protect company interest at the same time keep company’s and patients secret, business plans, ideas and strategies confidential and protect against third parties as required by business ethics. To ensure the implementation of marketing & promotion plans through sales team members . The Sales Manager will reports to the Regional Sales Manager- South and will be based at Hyderabad.
A minimum of 8 years of experience of Pharmaceutical Sales experience .For internal candidates, minimum 4 years of Novo Nordisk Sales experience. Local region market knowledge will be additive advantage. Graduate/Bachelor’s degree preferably in Pharmacy or Science . Excellent in spoken and written English. The position requires a person who have strong Analytical & Decision making skills, ability of Coaching and team development. Have knowledge of market, sales planning, budgeting & controlling. High mobility inside the country is required. The position requires a person who is to a high degree self-driven with a desire to influence.
