Position Title: Manager/Senior Manager, Finance & Accounting – Karachi/Islamabad
Position Overview: The prime purpose of this role is to assist in preparation of financial statements, assist in coordination with external, internal and SBP Auditors etc.
Key Responsibility:
- Quarterly, half yearly and annual financial statements in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards as adopted in Pakistan and other local regulatory requirements.
- Preparation of Financials Statements of ICBC- Staff Gratuity and Provident Fund
- Coordinate with External Auditors for Half yearly and annual Audit of the Bank
- Responsible for proofing / publishing of all periodic financial statement.
- Related parties register of as per the requirements of International Accounting Standards and Other regulatory requirements.
- Communicating with external outsourcing partners to implement improvements to accounting practices and policies & procedures.
- Effective coordination with external, internal Auditors and SBP Inspection Team and with respect of financial and other regulatory information.
- Prepare the various withholding tax statements and resolve the issues pertains to withholding tax related.
- Reporting of all taxes including Withholding Income Tax, Sales Tax, Advance Tax, Quarterly Withholding Tax Statement, including reporting required under various provisions of Income Tax Ordinance 2001 and Provincial Tax Laws;
- Monthly Fixed Asset Depreciation Run and Monthly Amortization of intangible assets and its Reconciliations
- Reconciliation of fixed assets register with GL
Qualification and Skills:
- ACCA/CA/CA part qualified. Certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 05 years of relevant experience for Manager and 08 years for Senior Manager in the banking sector.
- Sound understanding of accounting and taxation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal communications skills.
