Business Manager – International Business
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct market research to identify potential markets and assess the demand for the company’s products.
- Develop and implement comprehensive export strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Identify and engage with potential clients, distributors, and partners in international markets.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business deals.
- Coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, regulatory, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and documentation requirements.
- Prepare and manage budgets & monitor sales performance and profitability in international markets.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales and export professionals.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors
- MBA Marketing, or a related field, Plus a medical/pharmaceutical degree will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in international sales and export management in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong regulatory knowledge of export markets including Africa, CIS states, and Middle East including trade regulations, logistics, and customs procedures.
- Willingness to travel frequently to international markets.
