Job Description :

Fongrow Pvt Limited is seeking a highly skilled Chilli Expert with extensive experience in chilli cultivation, pest management, hybrid varieties, and post-harvest processing. The ideal candidate will provide technical guidance to farmers, optimize yield, and ensure sustainable farming practices.

Key Responsibilities :

▶️Advise on best practices for chilli cultivation (soil preparation, irrigation, fertilization).

▶️Recommend high-yielding/hybrid chilli varieties suitable for different agro-climatic conditions.

▶️Manage disease and pest control.

▶️Guide post-harvest handling, drying, and storage to minimize losses.

▶️Train farmers & field staff on modern chilli farming techniques.

▶️Collaborate with R&D to improve chilli quality, yield, and resistance.

▶️Monitor market trends and suggest profitable chilli varieties.

Qualifications & Experience:
Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Plant Science (Master’s preferred).

💡5+ years hands-on experience in chilli farming, agronomy, or related field.

📍Strong knowledge of chilli hybrids, organic farming, and IPM.

📚Experience working with farmers, agribusinesses, or FMCG companies.

💡Willingness to travel to farm locations.

Desired Skills :

Analytical problem-solving for crop issues.

Familiarity with precision farming & greenhouse cultivation.

Excellent communication in local language + English.
