Position: Investment Specialist (Sindh Fund Management House)

Number of Positions:1

Education Requirements:

Candidates must possess at least one of the following qualifications:

• CA Finalist/ACCA/ACMA
• Master’s in Accounting or Finance from an HEC-recognized university

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm or in managing finance sector audits/investment accounting in the financial services industry.
• Relevant experience in banks, insurance companies, non-banking financial institutions, brokerage houses, investment firms, or asset/management companies.
• Experience gained in a Chartered Accountancy firm will be considered relevant.

Age Limit:

• Not exceeding 45 years.

Job Description:

• Financial reporting in compliance with international accounting standards.
• Compiling financial and statistical reports and explaining them to stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of budgetary principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial reporting tools.
• Developing internal reporting requirements as per SECP regulations.
• Handling secretariat requirements with SECP and regulatory bodies.
• Preparing forecast financial statements.
• Performing liquidity analysis to ensure adequate cash flow management.

1. The appointment will be on a contract basis for an initial 3 years, extendable for another 3 years based on performance.
2. The selected candidate will receive a competitive, market-based salary.
3. Government employees must apply through the proper channel with an NOC from their department.
4. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews.
5. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
